Aviation Program

High School Students at Dallas International School are offered the opportunity to join the Aviation program and work towards their light craft pilot license or Drone Operator License.

As part of their education journey, the year-one students in this program begin by taking ground school lessons, and end the year by taking to the air for their first experience operating a light aircraft.

Year-two students take their FAA written exams as part of their flight training.

The Curriculum

The FAA Knowledge Test and/or FAA Part 107 is taken in either the Year 2 or Year 3 Courses.

Upon completion of the Year 2 Aviation Course, students may choose to undertake either the Pilot Courses or UAS Courses for their 3rd and 4th years of study.
