Student Life

At Dallas International School, we pride ourselves in creating a community on our campuses! We accomplish this by promoting a rich atmosphere of celebrations and events that augment and enhance our curriculum beyond the classroom.
 

DIS is a rich tapestry of culture, diversity, and values woven together to create a joyful community of students, staff, alumni, and families. This sense of belonging is what we cherish most. At DIS, community is nurtured through celebrations of cultural holidays and awareness months, meaningful events for students and families, and enriching learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom. From assemblies honoring Native American Heritage Month to art festivals, international book fairs, overnight cultural immersion trips, student-led clubs, and homecoming dances, the DIS experience is truly one of a kind.

Honestly, the people are my best memory. I would not be who I am if it weren’t for the friends I made at DIS and the teachers who supported me. The DIS community is one I will cherish forever!
My best memory is of the people I met there. We became a family during those years, and I was the best man at a wedding for one of the group three years ago. The tight-knit community at DIS influenced future friendships and relationships more than I could have imagined.
High school years were the best years. I was able to become really good friends with a small group and they helped shape who I am today.
