Camps & Language Institute

DIS is proud to serve our greater Dallas community with access to quality Language education, as well as a robust camp program.

Summer Enrichment Program

DIS offers hundreds of options for our Summer Camp Program.  Offered at both campuses for 6 weeks, campers can choose their activities, their weeks, and from half day, full day and extended day schedules. Students staying all day will be fed a delicious lunch from our SAGE dining catering services.

Activities range from cooking, crafts, dance, robotics, music and more! All programs are open to the community, so we invite you to bring your friends!

 

Enrollment is now open for our DIS Summer Enrichment Program and is available to all students, age 3-17, whether they attend DIS during the school year or not. Summers offer an excellent opportunity to learn a new skill and have a great time. This six-week program will be held on both campuses from June 15 through July 24. Join us and invite your friends. We hope to see you there!

Mini Camp

At Dallas International School, we also run mini camps during our seasonal school breaks. From tennis, art workshops, pottery studio to chess strategies and astronomy, our mini camps are an opportunity for students to make the most of their time during the school break.

Language Institute

The DIS Language Institute has been dedicated to helping both adults and children learn world languages since 1987. The available study options allow students to either join a group or sign up for one to one instruction.

Exposure to the target language starts the very minute the students enter the classroom. The use of the target language to communicate with classmates and the teacher is constantly encouraged in order to help students build confidence.

Since learning a new language should mean understanding a culture, our instructors will seize every opportunity to explore cross-cultural differences.
