Cultural Celebrations at DIS!
|
The diversity within the Dallas International School community is a true gift, offering countless opportunities to immerse ourselves in cultural experiences and learn from one another. |
DIS enthusiastically celebrates a variety of events, including Women’s History Month, Lunar New Year, Black History Month, Francophonie Week, the 100 Days of School, Medieval Day, and more. |

These special occasions are brought to life with assemblies, explorations of food, and cultural traditions, making them both educational and unforgettable experiences for everyone involved.
We also enhance our curriculum each year with the Country of the Year! Each year our community selects a country for us to focus on with food and events throughout the year. Last year, our Country of the Year was Portugal, and the year before that we celebrated Australia!
Special Events
Our Student Affairs team is always hard at work planning special events for our students. From Classroom parties to Middle School Dances (BOUMs), to Prom and HOCO, there is always something exciting for students to be excited about!
