Robert and Michelena have been DIS parents for 7 years. Their daughter is now in 5th grade. Michelena says, "DIS was the right choice for us because it aligns with our view that being an empathetic 'citizen of the world' is crucial to learning how your own actions contribute to the community at large. DIS has given our daughter the opportunity to experience a global community, gain fluency in a second language, and stay academically challenged through the curriculum." Based in Dallas, Texas, both Michelena and Robert work for global corporations in the technology and commerce sector.
