The members of the National Honor Society launched their new project building a Petanque court. The groundbreaking ceremony was led by Dr. Gonzalez who artfully used the shovel to give the momentum.
Dr. Josep González, Head of Dallas International School, personally greeted a refugee family at the DFW International Airport yesterday, after their escape from Afghanistan. The father, Mohammad Afzal Afzali, worked for a U.S. Embassy-funded organization in Afghanistan and helped translate interviews at public conferences and seminars.
The vision for Café-philo is to help provide a space for our high school students to engage in elevated conversation using the Socratic method. We hope students will practice expressing their own ideas and reactions in a respectful manner while enhancing their thinking on and understanding of democracy.
The goal will be to have a Café-philo time four times this year.

The Student Government Association is responsible for governing student interests, advocating for student concerns, providing support and recognition for recognized student organizations, and serving students by hosting activities and events that enhance student life.
