At DIS, our mission as a community is to:

inspire students to become multilingual global citizens who pursue a lifelong journey of discovery and action where the quest for deep academic knowledge and an appreciation of world cultures contribute to the advancement of humanity.

Vision: DIS 2030!

In 2025 we are embarking on strategic planning sessions to develop DIS 2030 Vision! This effort is a team effort of members of the Board of Trustees, members of the Executive Leadership Team, and members of the community at large.

The Strategic Plan will be based on 5 Themes:

  • Theme 1: Multilingual and Multicultural Excellence
  • Theme 2: Academic and Personal Excellence
  • Theme 3: Community Engagement and Partnerships
  • Theme 4: Infrastructure and Technological Advancement
  • Theme 5: Leadership in Global Education
