Overview
DIS offers an immersive French program for students in grades 1-2 with no prior French.
For the Early Childhood grades through Kindergarten, students do not need to have any knowledge of French.
Dallas International School offers a French International education that is blended with American curriculum for English Language Arts, Mathematics and STEM. DIS is accredited by the French Ministry of National Education and is part of a worldwide network of French International Schools across the globe.
For grades 9-12, DIS offers a 9th and 10th grade Pre-IBDP and the 11th and 12th grade International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Courses are taught in English with the exception of world languages (French, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese and German). There is no pre-requisite for French in this program.
Admission Calendar
Tuesday, October 1, 2024 - New Student Applications open for the 2025-26 school year.
Monday, January 27, 2025 - Applications due for all grade levels through 12th grade. This includes TPS/EC2 (children born January 1-September 1, 2023 only).
New Applicant Evaluations will be conducted in January and February 2025.
*Applicants transferring from a French accredited school do not require an evaluation; however, a Certificat de Scolarité and the last three years of school records (bulletins scolaires) need to be submitted.
Friday, March 14, 2025 - Admission Decisions released by email.
Friday, March 28, 2025 - Deadline to confirm enrollment by submitting an enrollment contract and deposit.
