Computer Science Students Visit Vegas For Industry Show
A group of CS students were granted the rare opportunity to attend one of the biggest technology shows of the year.
Five DIS computer science students boarded a plane on Thursday for the honor of attending the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Pierre Mawet, Elijah Rogers, Julian Greil, Stuart Nguyen and Sebastian Gray, along with teacher Douglas Lee, received the unique opportunity to attend the show thanks to the sponsorship of Global Semiconductor Alliance and Ethertronics, two of the show’s vendors. The event is typically reserved only for professionals who are affiliated with the industry.
The students will be covering all aspects of the show while creating content for their independent technology blog by interacting with professionals, attending presentations and learning more about industry trends and innovations. You can follow their reporting by visiting their blog.
