A group of 2nd, 3rd grade and immersion students at Churchill have been working hard for the last few weeks to produce their first radio program this year, which was recorded on Wednesday. Their special guest was Dr. Josep González, our Head of School, who was interviewed live by two of the children.
Students wrote their own scripts and then they got together to record and produce the entire radio program in one go. The aim of this initiative, as well as media education in general, is to help children develop a range of transferable skills and become discerning citizens who can better navigate a world inundated by vasts amounts of often contradictory information.
