Dallas International School Shares Joy Through Art and Messages with Brookdale Senior Living Home
To close out the year showing strength and unity, Dallas International School has launched a community service project in collaboration with the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).
To show our DIS Churchill campus neighbors at the Brookdale Senior Living Home that we are all in this together and they remain on our minds during such difficult times, we have been collecting student-drawn pictures and hand written notes of positivity and well wishes to lift our neighbors’ spirits.
Once all well wishes are collected, we will deliver them to the senior living home and hope that we are able to put a smile on the faces of residents. If your student or child is interested in contributing to such a great project, we encourage you to have them draw a picture or write a note and drop it off during your campus drop off day. You can also have students directly email their teachers any submissions they create. Once received, we will feature on our social media channels prior to them being delivered. Let’s have fun with this project and bring a little joy to those in need!
