Doctor and DIS Parent Shares Preventive Measures to Remain Safe During Pandemic

Dallas International School parent, Dr. Andrew Masica, MD, who was recently a part of the guest panel during our Reopening During COVID-19 webinar, has been publicly speaking around the Dallas community in hopes of curbing the spread of COVID-19.

When asked for his insight by Texas Health Resources, Dr. Masica shares that he believes local testing and the treatment of symptoms is what is most important for Dallas right now as we study more about the novel virus.
“Keep up social distancing, practice good hand washing hygiene, and stay informed. Don’t ignore symptoms, and contact medical providers with concerns about your health. As far as another way you can help others during the COVID-19 pandemic, consider donating blood. Your plasma could make the difference for someone in our community,” suggests Dr. Masica. Click here to read more about how you can remain safe during the ongoing pandemic.
