Thursday, January 16, DIS Head of School, Catherine Lévy, and Head of Primary, Franck Philipp, sat down with Churchill campus parents with a hot cup of coffee and a breakfast pastry to discuss things going on around Churchill.
As we approach Thanksgiving, a holiday centered around coming together and being grateful for all of our blessings, and close out November, which is National Gratitude Month; DIS has been encouraging students to look internally and focus on all the people and things that are important to them.

The DIS 11th grade recently had the opportunity to visit the Grand Prairie base of Airbus Helicopters, an aerospace corporation that specializes in helicopters, and the nearby headquarters of its partners, Safran Helicopter Engines USA and Safran Electronics & Defense.
This year, Dallas International School celebrates our two inductees for the National Merit Scholarship Program for the Class of 2020. High school seniors, Tristan Stock and Sanskriti Reddy, have both been awarded with this tremendous recognition.
This semester, DIS has continued its tradition of participating in foreign exchange by welcoming two young ladies to Dallas through our exchange program. Italian and Spanish natives, Francesca Fabbri and Ane Espel, have been enjoying their experience here at DIS and in Dallas for the last few months.
Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, our Spanish IB students attended a very special assembly where they were able to speak with esteemed guest, Head of Supervisors of Spanish Social Media of the MLB (Major League Baseball), Daniel Guemechu.
