To apply at DIS in 9th Pre-IBDP
- Send your report card from 7th and 8th grade and a motivation letter.
- Once the application is completed, a scheduled interview with the IB Coordinator and the Head of Secondary will be conducted either in-person at our Waterview Campus or via video conference.
- The Director of Admissions will schedule a meeting with the applicant’s parents and conduct a tour.
- Applicants will be required to take and pass tests in specific subject areas such as English, Mathematics, and Foreign Languages.

*The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability. It describes language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who have mastered a language. Prerequisite to be admitted in the 9preIBDP Bilingual preparation program is B2 level.
B2 Level: Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
