The DIS Language Institute has been dedicated to helping both children and adults learn foreign languages since 1987. At the DIS Language Institute, students can choose from several languages and study options: private, semi-private immersion or group classes. Learn A Foreign Language
Interactive Language Lessons For Adults and ChildrenAt the Language Institute, students are exposed to the new language from the very first minutes and encouraged to use it at all times during the class. Consolidation of the language items thus learned is reinforced through individual work to be done during student's free time. Because they increase retention and also help build a group spirit, interactive activities are included in every class meeting. And since learning a new language should mean understanding a culture, our instructors will seize every opportunity to explore cross-cultural differences. Summer and School Break Languages and ActivitiesThe Institute also coordinates a summer activity program open to all children, teenagers and adults during the summer school break. For DIS students, the Institute also offers activities in school camps during the DIS Spring Break, Fall Break and Winter Break. Business Translation Services and Language ClassesThe Language Institute also proposes translation services (French/English/Spanish), and offers customized on-site classes for corporations interested in providing their staff with language training. Refund PolicyThe registration fee for language classes is non-refundable. Students who wish to withdraw must submit a written request before the end of the first week of the session. A charge of $25.00 will be deducted from the amount of the refunded tuition. No refunds will be made after the first week of class. |
